Patrick thinks this duck looks happy to be in the water. He can almost hear it's loud honking call as it browses for morsels among the muddy stones. Ruddy Shelducks are native to India where they are known as Brahminy ducks. They are migratory, wintering in the Indian subcontinent and breeding in southeastern Europe and central Asia.
